At the George Inn, we pride ourselves on offering freshly prepared dishes in a comfortable, ‘proper pub’ setting, using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.  We have a wide-ranging menu, including Traditional Plated Sunday Roasts; Badger Beer battered Fish ‘n’ Chips and “Farmers’ platters” to share.

Daily Changing Specials, Sunday Lunch and Desserts

Each day we treat our guests to a daily-changing specials board and ‘Afters’ dessert board. On Sundays, our specials consist of traditional plated Sunday lunches, using joints supplied by our local butchers, all served with vegetables and roast potatoes. Choose from T-bone, Sirlon or Tomahawk steaks, all served with old bay fries and champ mashed potatoes.

Sunday - 8.00am until 9.30am (guests only)

Our breakfast menu is open to the public on Saturday's otherwise you need to be staying in one of our of 8 en-suite bedrooms.

Our mouth-watering breakfast, complete with black pudding and locally smoked Back Bacon, ensures our guests start their day the right way. We also have a vegetarian meat-free breakfast option and a range of continental fruits, cereals and pastries to enjoy.
